One Crazy Day

Team C, Mark and Allan spend their days in the hall recording non-stop Irish Dancing. Are they living the dream?

The people arrive in droves to observe the dancing. The sheer amount of "punters" makes me inwardly scream as I usually have to spend great portions of my day pushing through them so I can get from one location to another. Some punters can turn violent, as I found out yesterday. They don't like it if you stand in their way and block the view of the dancing. Nothing I can do about it, just doing my job.

The sad expression on my face is due to having a really hard day at work. I won't go into detail, but let's just say that I wasn't having much fun. I'm glad that today is now over.

The technical crew sit on a grassy knoll in the warm Irish spring afternoon sun. This is where we go for debrief and venting. It's a beautiful spot and the sun, combined with the pleasant surrounds helps us to restore order. Loud laughter can be often heard here as we all exchange crazy stories.

My mate Dan, chilling out near a rubbish bin. He keeps me sane when I'm at boiling point and reminds me to breathe. He also digs chilling out near rubbish bins. Maybe it's the smell? I'm not sure, but this is what he likes. I never argue. He's from New Zealand.
